RydeMinder (“we”, “us”) is a logbook for cars and bikes. This policy explains what we collect when you use the RydeMinder app and website, why, and the choices you have. Operator: RydeMinder.
What we collect
- Account: your name, email or phone number, and the sign-in method you choose (Google, Apple, email or phone).
- Your garage: vehicles, services, fuel, expenses, reminders, tyres, insurance, warranty, workshops and documents you add, including photos.
- Location (optional): where a fill-up or service happened, only when you allow it.
- Payments: what you bought and its status. Card details are handled by our payment partner (Safepay) or by Apple/Google — we never see or store them. Bank-transfer receipts you upload are kept to verify the payment.
- Device and usage: app version, crash reports and basic analytics to keep the app working.
How we use it
- To run your garage, sync it between your phones and the website, and send reminders you set up.
- To provide Premium and process purchases.
- For AI features you choose to use (assistant, voice entry, summaries): the text you send and the relevant vehicle records are processed by our AI provider to produce the answer. They are not used to train models.
- To fix problems, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We don’t sell your data and we don’t show ads.
Who we share it with
- Service providers: Google Firebase (hosting, database, sign-in, storage), RevenueCat (store subscriptions), Safepay (card payments), Anthropic (AI features). They process data only to provide their service to us.
- People you share a vehicle with: editors and viewers you invite can see that vehicle’s records.
- Authorities: when required by law.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays while your account exists. You can delete your account from the app or from Settings on the website; your garage is removed from every device. Vehicles shared with you remain with their owners. Backups are cleared within 30 days.
Your choices
- Edit or delete records at any time.
- Turn off location, notifications and marketing messages in settings.
- Export a vehicle’s history (Premium) from Reports.
Children
RydeMinder is not meant for children under 13.
